Invitation
Palmyra, Maine
21 August, 2024
To those gathered unto the name of Jesus Christ elsewhere:
“And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.” Romans 5:5
“For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;” 2 Corinthians 4:16-17
“We may, like the ships,
By Tempests be tossed
On perilous deeps,
But cannot be lost;
Though Satan enrages
The wind and the tides,
The promise engages
The Lord will provide”
Little Flock Hymn Book #160
There are so many uncertainties in our daily lives that draw our thoughts and time away from the Lord. What a comfort it is to have that certainty of the hope our God has revealed in His Word. Even in difficult and uncertain times, we can be encouraged to reach forth to that heavenly prize that is before us (Philippians 3:13-14). And be renewed daily as we spend time in His word with what little time we still have here.
With that in mind, we would like to invite our brethren to join us for a time of special meetings from the 29th of November to the 1st of December. These special meetings will begin on the 29th with prayer at the Palmyra meeting room at 7:00 PM. Subsequent meetings and meals at Jeff’s Catering and Event Center (15 Event Center Way, Brewer, Maine). Note that there is a change in accommodations which will be at the Holiday Inn Bangor (404 Odlin Rd, Bangor, ME 04401). Breakfast is provided at the Hotel.
If you plan to attend please register at www.bibleconferenceregistration.com/brewer/registration by 10th November. For questions contact Paul and Michelle Renaud by email at brewerconference@gmail.com or by phone (207.512.2525). Any children 17 years or younger must be accompanied by a responsible adult. All other communications should be to Al Nash, PO Box 161, Palmyra, ME 04965.
Please pray with us that this time and the meetings will be for the encouragement and the building up of one another.
With love from those gathered in the name of the Lord in Palmyra.
